Nanosoccer Jamboree – June 11th 2022

Saturday June 11th saw the second SoCal Youth Sports Nanosoccer Jamboree in Glendale. A full morning of soccer for children from the ages of 4-14. We want to say a HUGE thank you to every child, parent, grandparent, aunt and uncle who were involved in the day. It was a fantastic occasion for the children full of goals, skills saves, signs and cheers! We have put together a host of photos and videos from the day, follow the link to the post.

What To Expect When You’re Expecting… To Be A Sports Parent

“Not being a parentit is a slight drawback in trying to look at the world through the eyes of a parent, to develop this viewpoint to see the world like many of you reading this now, to understand and have a level of empathy with your situation, I needed to educate myself.”

Parents, new to sports or a veteran of the sideline, take a look at what I learnt and what we can take away together for the benefit of the kids!

Welcome Coach Daniela

Welcome Coach Daniela!
SoCal Youth Sports would like to welcome Daniela Guevara to the coaching team! Daniela joins us as a graduate in Biology from UCLA and an accomplished coach having worked in a wide variety of roles and responsibilities. We are really excited to welcome someone of Daniela’s character and quality to our program on our venture to redesign and rebuild grassroots sport.

Daniela was born and raised in Los Angeles but has a proud sporting background. Not only was she a student athlete at UCLA before a cruel injury cut her playing career short, her father was a former professional player in his homeland of Guatemala.

We cant wait for Daniela to show us all her passion and enthusiasm for the game and coaching on the field. Find out more about Coach Daniela on the website
