What to Expect in Class
Our 6–8 year old soccer classes in Pasadena, Glendale, and Burbank include a mix of skill-building activities, small-sided games, and guided play that help players stay active and involved throughout the session. Coaches create fun and challenging environments where players can improve their ball control, make decisions, and learn how to play with and against others.
Each session includes:
-
dynamic warm-up activities
-
ball control and coordination work
-
dribbling, passing, and finishing games
-
Nano Sided Games with lots of involvement
-
guided game play that develops decision making and teamwork
Every player stays active, gets frequent touches on the ball, and has regular chances to learn through play.

Nanosoccer is our child-centered, small-field game format designed to maximize engagement, development, and fun. Depending on the age group, kids play in formats like 1v1, 3v3+GK, or 5v5+GK, which means more touches, quicker decisions, and more opportunities to succeed.

What Parents Are Saying
“I loved everything about this Nanosoccer, my son has greatly improved, friendly, organized, informative. We will sign up every year! Thank you for doing this.” – Tracy G
“Having my kids get a better grasp of the mechanics of the game: position, passing, strategy. Not just a pack running aimlessly. And the technique of nano soccer (smaller team, smaller field, more time actually with the ball playing) was very beneficial for both my kids and built their confidence.”. – AYSO Burbank Parent Survey Response, Spring 2024
“The coaches are incredibly kid friendly. Our child likes his coach and the coaches seem to genuinely like children” – Beau D.
“Lots of play time for each kid and a very positive approach to coaching — really kept my kid (who is brand new to soccer) very enthusiastic and encouraged!” – Collette M.
