New Spaces and Allocations in Public Classes

Due to the relaxing of restrictions due to COVID and a guarantee of the playing space for the program at the Glendale Sports Complex, we are now able to extend our offer within our public classes further. The 1:6 rule (1 coach for every 6 children) will now be extended to 1:8 (1 coach for every 8 children).

We are hoping this extension will greater availability to families looking for an affordable, professionally coached program. It is our staunch belief every child should have access to a high quality sports and education experience and we feel this is a step in the right direction.

Do not forget our referral program is still running! For every child that signs up and attends a class on the back of a referral, you will receive 1 free class for your child.

We Are Hiring!

SoCal Youth Sports is looking for people who are passionate about young children and sports to deliver soccer classes for children aged 3-16.

Our mission is to enable all children, regardless of socio-economic background, age, and accessibility, to a high-quality sporting experience. This means unrestricted access to classes and  professionally coached classes in a personalized atmosphere.

We are looking for people who can develop relationships quickly with children and have the children’s experiences at the center of their motivations for being involved in sport.

Classes are one hour long. Coaches are given an evidence-based framework that has been developed based on the Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU). The use of TGfU enables our core values to be elicited in every class we run.
  • Child-Centered
  • Enjoyable & Engaging
